Children and adolescents up to 18 years of age
After registration via the contact form, you will be contacted by telephone for a telephone intake. After this telephone intake, an appointment will be made for an initial intake interview and you can fill in the registration form and send it to us.
The first meeting preferably takes place with the parents and the child or young person. Depending on the age of the child and the situation, it can also be decided to first invite only the parents or the young person.
What should you bring to the first meeting?
Referral letter from your GP or JGT
Identification of your child
If you are divorced as parents, written permission from both authoritative parents is required before a first interview can take place. We are not allowed to talk to your child without this permission.
Interview
During an intake interview, we will discuss with you and your child how serious the problems are and what is needed. Sometimes it may be that the behavior you are worried about actually belongs to your age and / or is, for example, a (temporary) reaction to something that happened.
Your child may also benefit from short-term treatment to help them feel better and then develop properly.
It is also possible that the problems require long-term treatment or that it is not clear what exactly is going on and what is needed. In that case, we will work with you to find the most appropriate help.
If it emerges from the conversation that our offer is not suitable, we will be happy to help you find suitable assistance.
